Ashley and Mike’s Vermont winter wedding took place at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe, Vermont. The December winter wedding was white, peaceful and pure with freshly fallen snow that had appeared days before the ceremony. The Green Mountain Inn wedding venue welcomed guests in with its warm woodsy accents and Ashley’s pretty School House Garden flowers she had picked out.
There is nothing more pure than a winter white wedding. All I can say is that the fresh white snow made for a beautiful photo shoot. The wedding couple and wedding party braved the cold winter temps for me as I tried to get the perfect angles and shots. Between the shivers and smiles, I was able to capture Ashley and Mike’s love for one another. There is just something about the winter snow that makes everything it touches peaceful and full of bliss.
Overall the wedding shoot was an intimate and fun one. The bridesmaid’s flannel outfits started off the day with a warm and cozy feel. The entertainment for the night added music that had everyone dancing. The energetic wedding party filled the open spaces and the newly married wedding couple were on their way to a new beginning. The aura of love was evident throughout the day and night making for a splendid Vermont winter wedding. I hope Ashley and Mike enjoy the memories that were made with each and every photo I took of their special day.
I want to give out a big thank you to the Green Mountain Inn staff, School House Garden for the flowers, the wedding party and all of their guests that helped make the day special. I especially want to thank Ashley & Mike for having us and for braving the cold weather for some wedding photos.
